San Miguel 64

A residential project organized around a central void and controlled relationships between interior and exterior space.

The house is structured through a clear division between social and private areas, separated by a thick central wall that anchors circulation and spatial hierarchy. A skylight introduces vertical continuity, bringing light into the core of the house and establishing a visual connection across levels.

Living spaces open toward the rear landscape through controlled openings, extending interior areas toward a continuous terrace without dissolving spatial boundaries. Upper-level spaces maintain a framed relationship with the exterior, prioritizing orientation over exposure.

Material transitions reinforce this organization, balancing solid elements with lighter surfaces to define moments of enclosure and openness.

San Miguel 64 is approached as a study in spatial balance—where light, separation, and continuity are resolved through architectural order.
